The Manor Hotel at Camp John Hay Baguio City

In the hills of the Philippines sits the Camp John Hay , home of an outstanding 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. A natural retreat high the hills, it's the ultimate destination for enjoying the outdoors with hiking trails and horseback riding.

We stayed at The Manor Hotel. It has rustic-themed accommodations with large balconies and all the finest amenities ensure a comfortable rest after active days. Housing fine restaurants, comfortable lounges, a modern business center and everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel, this is a great destination for your next trip. Crisp clean air, and lush surroundings are just a click away. Enter your dates on their online booking form and click to stay at the Camp John Hay Manor Hotel.

The very first to welcome us are the valet staff, they instantly offered their assistance followed by their bell boys and security personnel. It was a great experience to feel how important guests are to them. From the entrance, to the fireplace in the lobby, down to the check-in counter, you will feel utmost welcome and warmth reception from the hotel staff.

I love the fireplace at the lobby it is the only place in the Philippines where a fireplace is not just a decoration.

Rooms are very spacious and there's even an area in each where you can prepare food. Rooms are either overlooking the garden area or the trees.I was kinda wary that The Manor does not have air-conditioning system. But no worries, the cold fresh air is way better. A sweet deal since the room was spacious, clean and has everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

In the morning a cool breeze and romantic foggy morning awaits you. The whole ambiance is so serene that you will definitely feel close with nature.

I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. By far the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. Filipino breakfast favorites like Garlic Rice with Vigan Longganisa, Sauteed Vegetables, Daing na Bangus, Corned Beef, Crispy Bacon a lot more. Pancakes and eggs are on per order basis cooked by the chef standing on the right.Their breakfast buffet spread is legendary!

I'm always awed by The Manor's architecture. We walk here every morning after breakfast and just marvel at the sight. The view of the lighted tree and fountains was really stunning.

Dining, golf, shopping, live lounge music, etc.can be enjoyed there. There are also tons of guest activities and the concierge will be happy to serve you if you need anything in particular.

Picture perfect. But nothing compares to actually experiencing it. If only I could paint... For a moment it feels like I'm somewhere else. The place looks really stunning and beautiful from afar.

If you're looking forward to a quiet, relaxing time during your stay in Baguio, then Camp John Hay might just be the place for you. Unlike the rest of Baguio which has become highly urbanized and congested, Camp John Hay still maintains that "Baguio feel" pine trees and all to ensure that visitors feel relaxed and refreshed. Add to that the effect of a foggy day, it's a perfect place for a vacation!
